I spent three days hiking in the Rhinnogs with my youngest son. We camped on the summit and watched the sun set over the Llyn Peninsula and later watched the moon rise behind us. The lights of the houses of the  coastal villages along the south coast of the peninsula came on one by one.  I sketched the scene while sharing a beer with my son and returned home to paint the scene in oils in my Norfolk studio.
